VIP partners, influencers and private guests of Ocean Blue World gathered last week over a Sushi & Sake Lunch hosted at the trendy Nicksan Palmilla. This chic and intimate afternoon as part of Ocean Blue’s exclusive events unlocked a magical experience with notable personalities, entertainment, and of course, extraordinary culinary creations.

In the secluded sanctuary of Nicksan Palmilla, where the essence of Japanese culinary artistry is seamlessly interwoven with the zest of Mexican heritage, guests of Ocean Blue were greeted with a “Tequila Tease” cocktail, an elixir that marked the commencement of the #OceanBlueExperience. Attendees interacted with special guest El Charro González who arrived in his signature Day of the Dead aesthetic while a graceful geisha walked amid the guests offering a perfect photo opportunity. Adding more beauty to the day, artist Rodrigo Azanza Zepeda orchestrated a live painting titled “Golden Symbiosis” of a blooming gold orchid and a pink-toned eclipse in a ceramic plate.

To the rich melodies of a classical string duo, guests were led to their tables where the narrative of taste was about to unfold. A trio of courses, the Sushi & Sake Lunch, beckoned. Each bite a fusion of cultures—be it the Sashimi Bluefin, Maki de Langosta, or Huachinango Sellado accompanied by Sake Bull Rider Junmai Daiginjo. The sweet finish? A lemon cake paired with Sake Sparkling Shirakabe.

The entertainment continued with an interactive origami-making experience and a luxury raffle with gifts from Gallery, TOP 10´S and Hayet Abdala. The lantern-designed #OceanBlueSwagBag featured Asian-inspired gifts for all to enjoy as well as the 34th edition of Ocean Blue Magazine featuring David Beckham #OnTheCover.

November 3, 2023– The highly influential and “who’s who” turned up the volume in Mexico City last week at the 7th annual GRAND PRIX RACING NIGHT hosted by Ocean Blue World and Articulos JA. The iconic October 26th off-track celebration made for yet another unparalleled party experience kicking off the official Mexico City Grand Prix. Held at the MUPE Museo del Perfume, the action-packed evening had more than 500 high profilers stepping out in their finest for THE HOTTEST NIGHT OF THE F1 WEEK.

A WHOLE LOT OF FASHION, JEWELRY AND DESIGN AT OCEAN BLUE’S TRENDING TEA PARTY

No matter how one prefers tea to be served, there’s something to be said about the act of gathering in good company and enjoying a cup of tea. Ocean Blue World unveiled their own playful spin on the classic tea party experience with a whole lot of fashion, jewelry and design…and of course, all the trimmings of a dreamy teatime. The sweet spot? Dalia. Located inside the renowned Viceroy Los Cabos resort, Dalia restaurant became the unique tea room offering lavish surroundings, plush furnishings and a delicate menu of traditional treats. Whisk yourself away for an afternoon of trendy tea and go behind the scenes at yet another spectacular #OceanBlueExperience.

By invitation only, the women who wow in Los Cabos were invited to a five o´clock sitting of afternoon tea with white glove service from Viceroy´s finest. Dressed in elegant vintage attire with fabulous fascinators of all colors and kinds, guests were greeted by soft music and waiters in trimmed blazers pouring chilled mimosas and Bellinis. True to the customs of a tea party, the charming outdoor garden space was staged to perfection and fit for a royal indeed. Table settings, décor and event design by Los Cabos Warehouse Rentals took attention to detail to a whole new level, including the Ocean Blue Glam Lounge with its blue-themed cozy furnishings. Pretty pastel shaded florals by Lola del Campo dressed every inch of this dreamy location defining a “Field of Wild Flowers” theme.

And so “Teatime” commenced. Served in artistic ceramic pieces that were as beautiful to look at as they were to use, classic teas such as Jazmin, Ruby Red, English Breakfast and Matcha were gracefully sampled and enjoyed. The menu offered a wide range of both savory and sweets. The egg salad sandwich, chicken coronation, Victoria sponge cake and warm scones went down a treat. As the ladies sipped and top media including Foro TV, Reforma Moda, Glamour Magazine, QPR and Ocean Blue Productions prepared their coverage, the fashion show began. Sonia Falcone, founder and president of the AMA Foundation dedicated to saving the seas, presented her spectacular AMA Designs pop up fashion show — an exclusive collection of dresses, swimwear, blouses, accessories and handbags all made with 100% natural materials. The simply exquisite Daniel Espinosa jewelry was incorporated into the show as well as some furry friends including @caboava. Fashion and design were having a moment and it was hats (fascinators) off in recognition of these iconic artists.

Held at the stylish Ragga by Joy, this by invitation only event kicked off Mexico´s highly anticipated Formula 1 and had nearly 1,000 high profilers stepping out in their finest for one night in the fast lane.

Combining the sights and sounds of the racing adrenaline, GP RACING NIGHT came full circuit with a striking neon lit theme for all to #FeelTheGlow. The glitzy spectacle had guests flowing in for several hours with a seemingly endless stream of performances and artists. Featuring Playa Limbo singing sensation JASS REYES, professional graphic illustrator and Motorsports enthusiast IDRIS DUCRÊT, renowned mixologist OSVALDO VASQUEZ  with his Humo de Comal cocktail, Mexican urban singers LAS PREZ, and captivating the crowd — the powerful and charismaticsinger ROSALIA DE CUBA and her band, this year´s GP RACING NIGHT truly celebrated the thrill of the luxury sport. GRAND PRIX RACING NIGHT GOES FULL THROTTLE IN MEXICO CITY

Vanessa Fukunaga from Ocean Blue World, in partnership with renowned businessman Andrés Simg from Articulos JA and Paola Ibarra from Pola Collection, just unveiled their FIFTH edition of Grand Prix Racing Night kicking off Mexico´s highly anticipated Formula One. Held at the classy Pug Seal Allan Poe, over 350 high profilers came together to experience the racing adrenaline off track. At this #ByInvitationOnly event, more was more and it was full throttle ahead with speed, excitement and style found at every turn.

Spotted: Julio Bracho, Mallilany Marin, Ines Sainz, Gregorio Sánchez, Carlota Ensenata, Miss World Mexico´s Karolina Vidales and many more — this was the event to see and be seen. With the calendar now turned to summer, Ocean Blue World stepped out in style hosting their “Brunch In The City” experience in partnership with Tea Forté. Held outdoors on the chic rooftop terrace of Mexico City´s trendy Condesa DF hotel, this must-attend intimate event gathered together VIP partners, influencers and private guests to enjoy a one-of-a-kind brunch. Think a slick city backdrop, luxury brands offering tailored experiences and a charmingly decorated summer scene. Add on the historic celebration of Mexico City turning 500 this year and the combination of summer and tea tasting never looked so good! Walking through the doors of Grupo Habita´s Condesa DF, guests were escorted by a lineup of white-gloved waiters offering a refreshing iced tea by Tea Forté and an Ocean Blue signature cocktail. Moving up to the rooftop terrace, elegant décor, charming floral arrangements and cool DJ lounge beats awaited. The setting was exquisite. As guests looked out upon the sights and sounds of the thriving city,  Vanessa Fukunaga, Owner and CEO of Ocean Blue World and Engel & Völkers Snell Real Estate, made her signature entry to the popular salsa song “Vivir Mi Vida” accompanied by suited ushers. After an official warm welcoming, guests were invited to a unique tea tasting session by Tea Forté savoring tantalizing flavors from around the globe including Formosa oolong tea and Darjeeling tea. Perfectly paired with orange, dark and milk chocolates by award-winning Mexican brand, Le Caméléon, the melt-in-your-mouth goodness was simply divine.Kicking off the taste and create experienceswas Lillet with their French cocktails paired with delicious sushi and ceviche canapes. A spot of tea anyone? Ocean Blue World´s Signature Tea Party in partnership with French tea masters Dammann Frères was over-the-top chic, cool and sophisticated. Fit for a royal indeed, the afternoon tea experience was set on the edge of the sea – literally – as guests enjoyed the awe-inspiring Sea of Cortez views from the stunning estate of Villa Love & Peace. As the first hints of a new Ocean Blue Event season are starting to rise from a place of pause, here´s an in-confidence sneak peek at the year´s first socially safe #ByInvitationOnly event.

It´s a tradition that dates back to the 1840s in Britain, and in their usual fashion, Ocean Blue World brought it into their own hosting a stylish and simply divine tea party. Banding together with Women´s History Month, the women who wow in Los Cabos were invited to two sittings of early and late afternoon tea. On the menu – white glove service from top to bottom on the iconic Caleta, Palmilla cliffside.

Dressed in elegant vintage attire with matching fascinators of all colors and kinds, guests were greeted by the tunes of a live musician and escorted by a lineup of suited waiters offering blue roses and a specially prepared Nuit d´ete iced tea. Entering the stunning compound of Villa Love & Peace guests passed the lush native landscaping, floating steps, flanking waterfalls and dramatic firepits. Down the marble staircase and inside the expansive living room – behold a parade of pageantry. Staged with an impressive collection of fine china sourced from around the world and orchestrated with dashes of colorful décor, the artistic and creative direction on tableware was by Sonia Falcone, founder and president of the AMA Foundation dedicated to saving the seas. Guests were ushered to their table of choice which included the themes of Arabian Nights, Alice in Wonderland, All Things Flowers, AMA and Ocean Blue featuring hand-painted tablecloths by Los Cabos artist Tanya Talamante. Sublime floral decorations by Lola del Campo complemented the table settings and surrounding living spaces bringing to life the vibrancy of the occasion.

Tea was served. Luxury French tea masters Dammann Frères presented an exclusive tea tasting experience taking guests on a private sensory journey. As waiters served the selected teas including Coquelicot and Rooibos Vainille in gorgeous ceramic teapots, heavenly aromas of hibiscus, caramel, green tea and passion fruit filled the air. It wouldn’t be an authentic afternoon tea without all the traditional spreads catered and served by Casianos. Elegant serving trays brimmed with teatime treats of freshly baked pastries and dainty finger sandwiches. Then, care for something sweet? Miniature puddings of chocolate-mousse tarts, salted-caramel choux pastries, and exquisite OBW tiered cakes undeniably stole the show. On to the drinks menu, Ocean Blue World launched their own signature Bubble Bar in partnership with Home Ossy Bar delivering refreshing cocktails and a unique mixology experience.

As the event rolled on into the evening, a myriad of luxury giveaways were presented from Dammann Frères, Cypres, Tanya Moss, Casianos, Craic Yacht, and of course Ocean Blue. Adding to the trendy flair, guests let their gaze wander to the stunning Cabo Chic AMA designs by Sonia Falcone – an exclusive collection of blouses, shorts, dresses, accessories and handbags all made with 100% natural materials. When it was time for a touch up, Ocean Blue World´s Beauty Bar made for a flirty find in the home´s oversized powder room. Before departure, guests were able to take their memories home with the perfect photo opportunity at the charming green forest-like arrangement.

The star-studded weekend began on board the Amber Lounge yacht with unrivalled day hospitality featuring signature cocktails brought straight from Finland by Arctic Blue Gin and served by the world champion flair bartender.

For the first time ever, Amber Lounge moved the legendary party from land to sea, keeping Yas Marina pumping until the early hours. The sold-out party ignited by Sigma hosted Chris Gayle, Jean-Éric Vergne and Tim “Shmee” Burton alongside VIP guests. A huge success that Amber Lounge will repeat in Monaco 2020 throwing a yacht party on Friday onboard an iconic celebrity yacht!

The Sunday night F1 After Party by Amber Lounge once again was the place to be for post-race celebrations. Sigma kept the energy going with an electrifying set to close out the unforgettable weekend. A Black Out moment unveiled the appearance of Dynamo who joined Mick Schumacher and Bacary Sagna on the dancefloor. The celebrations didn’t disappoint at the ultimate end of season closing party where F1 drivers Max Verstappen, Alexander Albon, Daniil Kvyat, Carlos Sainz, Pierre Gasly, Lando Norris, Fernando Alonso and their teams joined VIPs and enthusiasts to party until dawn.

This past weekend the AMA Foundation hosted it’s first fundraising gala, AMA Ocean Ball, at Las Ventanas al Paraíso, a Rosewood Resort, in San José del Cabo. The Chair of the event is the world renowned designer Tamara Ralph and the Co Chair are TTRRHH Prince and Princess of Orleans, duques of Anjou and Cadaval, and  former supermodel, Christina Estrada. The event was filled glitter and glamour that sparkled into the evening, with over-the-top entertainment, special guest appearances, and a live auction.

The Ball will be repeated annually with increased guests and fundraising targets. The marine conservation beneficiaries selected will continue their work throughout the year, with boosted resources and potential thanks to AMA’s financial support and awareness campaign that will benefit the whole community.
