Fleur de Sel de Guérande
The Celtic Queen of Salts
Just as authentic Champagne is from Champagne, true Fleur de Sel must come from the Medieval village of Guérande in France.
This superb salt is carefully harvested manually according to Celtic tradition. Its taste is delicate and sea-salty, reminiscent of the ocean. It is praised as being one of the best in the world. Many chefs regard it as the best of all sea salts because of its elegant appearance, delicate flavor and moist texture.
- Bittersweet Perfection in A tiny flAsk -
Aged for over 20 years, this prized gold vinegar is produced in adherence with rigorous DOP guidelines by three-star Michelin Chef, Massimo Bottura. The unmistakable flavor, color and texture derives from the high quality must and
years of aging in barrels made of various types of wood: chestnut, cherry, juniper, oak, walnut and elm. Chef Bottura suggests using several drops of Tradizionale to finish a risotto dish or to accompany chunks of aged Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
