arisian architect and designer Jacques Garcia’s world is one of indulgence, attitude and bold statements. His designs create atmosphere and inspiration through voluptuous patterns, opulent textiles and a sense of
romance that defines his inimitable style. Garcia’s touch is all over the French capital, revolutionizing the way Paris looks. Think Corinthian columns, gilded chandeliers and damask- covered furniture; Garcia is not known for his subtlety but rather his penchant for transforming spaces into experiences unto themselves.
Notable projects include the redesign of a Place Vendôme Parisian townhouse for the Sultan of Brunei, art galleries at the Louvre, and grand hotels including the Hotel Costes, in Paris, the Mamounia, in Marrakech, the Vagabond in Singapore, and the NoMad, in New York, among countless others.
And when he’s not working, Garcia can be found enjoying the lavish restoration of his own 17th-century estate, Château du Champ de Bataille in Normandy, a project that took two decades. He also spent seven years transforming an ancient and stark Sicilian monastery into a luxurious country house for the designer and his guests.
Garcia’s worldwide acclaim and gilded touch have firmly established him as one of the world’s top designers.
“I create places where people can meet and seduce.”
