Sleep!
S leep is neglected in these demanding times. With
modern technology, people can work 24/7, in
opposition to natural circadian rhythms, and
travel, pressure, multiple jobs within the home and
without, and other stressors all affect sleep.
Successful corporations have come to realize that a ‘work “I studied, I met with medical doctors,

sleep as a necessary ingredient for a happy, productive life.

businesses provide siesta rooms. Ryan Holmes, CEO of
Hootsuite, is enthusiastic about employee health and provides
onsite yoga as well as rooms for shuteye.
Sleeping pods: single-person enclosures, some of which will
recharge handheld devices while the occupant recharges, are
also becoming common, from airports to libraries - wherever
over-tired, stressed people are found.
The revolution is on. Get some sleep!
