the highest honor of the Italian republic and
has multiple World Music awards, including a
Golden Globe, Latin Grammy award, and six
Classical Brit awards.

After a performance in Mumbai with Zubin
Mehta and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra,
the journalist Malavika Sangghvi, wrote: “As
your celestial voice filled with purity and
light soared over the stadium, embracing us
all, stirring emotions we scarcely knew we
harbored, touching the open skies and the
pristine full moon above, I understood what
Céline Dion meant when she said "If God
would have a singing voice, he must sound a
lot like Andrea Bocelli."
