America’s Got Talent
imon Cowell is, by popular opinion, a modern-day influencer.
His onscreen persona is funny, sarcastic and brutally honest. It
is his niche. His skill is to recognize that certain entertainment
Ssomething, the “X” factor that divides the mediocre from the star.

He started off as judge in the UK’s Pop Idol and the U.S.’s American Idol,
where he became famous for his crushing comments. Cowell founded the
entertainment company Sysco, responsible for Britain’s Got Talent and The
X Factor. Musicians in the company’s repertoire include everyone from One
Direction to Fifth Harmony, Camila Cabello, Leona Lewis, Little Mix, Il
One Direction Divo, Labrinth, James Arthur and Susan Boyle to name a few.

With one leg in England, his homeland, and one in the U.S., his influence
spans the English-speaking world and beyond. An international cultural
authority, with extravagant homes in both London and Los Angeles,
Cowell has mellowed as he approaches his sixties. A recent health scare and
young son have meant a healthier diet, and more family time, with partner
Lauren Silverman and son Eric, including regular vacations in Los Cabos.
