W ith the Buchanan’s discovery of two
enticing locations, they knew the time
had come to fulfill their dream of opening
their art galleries.
Paris and Antonio Buchanan, owners of La Musa Art Lounge,
describe this dream concept as providing “… an environment
where emerging and established Latin American and
international artists can promote their work complemented by
amazing food.”
Some of La Musa’s stable of contemporary artists include Cuba’s
Julio Garcia whose trompe l’oeil mixed with magic realism are
fun and profound. Gabriela Villarreal from Monterrey imbues
one with an array of color and emotion. The internationally
known panamanian artist Marisabel Bazan exhibits her unique
brand of butterflies and in 2016 will be the resident artist for
La Musa Panama and look for Floyd Atkins from Chicago and
Guillermo Cevallos a Cuban based in Mexico City.
La Musa Art Lounge presents an international collection of
modern art amidst contemporary entertainment areas, refined
mixology and an exquisite menu which come together to
tantalizingly titillate the senses.
In Panama City, La Musa Art Lounge, situated in a three-story
colonial building in the Old City Casco Antiguo, is a tribute to
Panamanian history. The restaurant and bar are managed by
the renowned Venezuelan chef Oscar Gonzalez.
In San José del Cabo, La Musa is centrally located in the historic
district and combines the art gallery of global artists alongside a
fabulous restaurant designed by award-winning
Chef Dennis Ortiz.
