This month’s dining short list spans a Belle Époque revival in Paris, an Upper East Side townhouse bistro in New York, a Mayfair debut from Matt Abé at the former Le Gavroche, and Dallas’s newly starred Mamani by Chef Christophe De Lellis. Bonheur by Matt Abé
The highly anticipated restaurant recently opened its doors in Mayfair. Located at the iconic site of the former Le Gavroche. Bonheur ingredient-led, classically rooted cuisine with a contemporary touch. Menus showcase Abé’s devotion to detail, with nods to his Australian heritage and Asian influences woven throughout. Guests can choose from an á la carte and two tasting experiences: five-course Journey and seven-course Dream. The six-seat Chef ’s Table, ‘Petit Bonheur’ serves the Dream menu and invites time with the chefs to uncover the inspiration, precision, and craft behind each dish.

Chez Fifi
Nestled in a charming Upper East Side townhouse, Chez Fifi invites guests into a refined and inviting atmosphere with a bistro inspired menu, a salon featuring innovative cocktails, and wines sourced from around the globe. The à la carte menu features Parisian bistro classics with a nod to coastal northern Spain. A meal begins with foie gras terrine maison, deviled crab baked San Sebastian style, clam risotto, Escargots a la bourguignonne, steak tartare and poulet rôti with foie gras jus, Filet mignon au poivre and wild Dover sole. For dessert, classics such as mousse au chocolat and baba au rhum.

Le Grand Café
The restaurant is situated in the Rotonde Clemenceau, a grand Beaux-Arts hall at the Grand Palais, with access to Champs-Élysées. Joseph Dirand created a Belle Époque aesthetic with a contemporary touch, incorporating marble, mirrors and velvet banquettes. The terrace is decorated with mosaic floors and lush greenery, Benoît Dargère is the chef, reinterpreting classic French brasserie fare with a modern, seasonal style. The menu includes a mix of traditional dishes alongside modern creations such as lobster tempura.

Mamani
Mamani Chic and sophisticated, yet warm and welcoming, Mamani features classic French cuisine that’s rooted in Paris and draws inspiration from the French and Italian Rivieras. Allas’s new French contemporary restaurant, Mamani, has received its first Michelin star for 2025, making it the city’s second Michelin-starred restaurant alongside Tatsu Dallas. Located in the Uptown area, Mamani is led by Chef Christophe De Lellis.
