Two of the world’s most renowned luxury brands, Crystal AirCruises and The Peninsula Hotels have come together to present a journey of a lifetime. The 27-day “Peninsula Grand Inaugural Crystal AirCruise” takes flight on August 31, 2017 providing an absolutely unique cultural and culinary adventure.
Staffed by butlers, concierge and Michelin-quality executive chef, Crystal Aircruises’ privately owned, fully customized Boeing 777-200LR jet delivers passengers to ten Peninsula Hotel properties around the world. At each destination, guests will be treated to exclusive Peninsula-curated events as an introduction to each city. The Peninsula will organize a reception cocktail offered by an influential local, which include artists and gallerists to fashion designers or jewellers – who will share first hand knowledge of the cultural pulse from the city.
The “Peninsula Grand Inaugural Crystal AirCruise” includes four galas, beginning with a rooftop cocktail reception set against the glittering backdrop of the New York skyline; a private reception and dinner on the Great Wall of China in Beijing; an over-the-top dinner reminiscent of the glamour of “Old Shanghai” at The Peninsula Shanghai; and a special Loy Krathong “Festival of Lights” celebration at The Peninsula Bangkok. Additionally, in Tokyo, guests will enjoy a private performance of the ancient art of Kabuki, while the grand finale of the programme culminates in Paris, as guests depart on a journey to the Champagne region for an exclusive lunch at the famed Champagne house.
