Born from a Netflix audition and the vision of Bishop’s modest beginnings to stages that shimmer with consequence. Their patron? Pharrell Williams — 13-time Grammy winner, Louis Vuitton menswear maestro, and the polymath behind “Happy” — who happens to be the Bishop’s nephew.

In September 2025, the gospel ensemble made Vatican history, performing at St. Peter’s Square. The Grace for the World concert marked the first performance of its kind in that sacred space, complete with Sistine Chapel-inspired drone choreography illuminating the Roman sky. One member admitted the entire choir wept upon arrival.

Weeks later, they opened the World Series at Toronto’s Rogers Centre with tracks from their album OPHANIM, voices backed by a 25-piece orchestra. They delivered both national anthems — “O Canada” graced by local symphonic accompaniment — and became the sonic backbone of MLB’s entire postseason campaign.

It’s a trajectory that defies reality television’s usual arc. From reality auditions to the Vatican to championship baseball, Voices of Fire keeps landing on stages where music shifts from performance to something closer to communion.
