GOURMET
HENNESSY X.O X FRANK GEHRY
The world-renowned architect pays homage
to the odyssey of the ‘Extra Old’ cognac with a D150th Anniversary Masterpiece.
rawing inspiration from the rich Hennessy X.O blend, and the vital soil, twisting vines, and the glistening Charente River that runs through the Hennessy Maison, Frank Gehry created a sensorial masterpiece. The iconic Hennessy
X.O bottle is enveloped in a crinkled sleeve of 24 carat gold-dipped bronze, evoking the movement of water as it reflects the light. The sculptural decanter is encased by a fractured glass glorifier to amplify the inspiration of water and light.
300 YearS Of MHiStOrY in a tea Cup
arukyu-Koyamaen’s highly praised and award-winning tea Tenju, or "Tea from Heaven,” is the finest koicha matcha available, a genuine curiosity, unrivaled among classic matcha teas. Tenju boasts an exquisitely sophisticated composition.
Prepared as usucha or thin tea it is ethereal in its lightness, boasting the softest of flavors. Prepared as koicha or a thick, creamy tea, it releases its soft, sweet, delicate flavors slowly, then giving way to a lingering sensation. Marukyu- Koyamaen, Japan’s highly-regarded tea grower, started to cultivate and manufacture tea in the village of Kyoto in late 1600.
