B ritish designer, Giles Deacon,
is a graduate of London’s
Central Saint Martins College.
He worked with Jean-Charles
de Castelbajac in Paris and designed for
Bottega Veneta. He presented his first solo
collection under the label Giles at London
Fashion Week in February 2004. An instant
success, his quirky-styled collection containing
pop culture and animal prints was featured
in worldwide editions of Vogue, as well as W,
and Harper’s Bazaar and acquired by Harvey
Nichols, Liberty and Selfridges.

Deacon has won many prestigious best
designer awards. He won the prestigious
ANDAM award in 2010 and in 2012 he was
awarded Fashion Designer of the Year by The
World Fashion Channel in Moscow.

He is also an established illustrator whose work
has appeared in Interview, The Face, and Pop,
among others. Some of his print designs have
been incorporated into his fashion designs.

Deacon launched his first haute couture
collection in 2016. Many celebrities are
adorned in his designs including: Kate Moss,
Kristin Scott Thomas, Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth
Paltrow, and Cate Blanchett. Pippa Middleton’s
wedding dress, his creation, is the most-talked
about wedding gown of 2017.
