For the Fall – Winter 2013-2014 Louis Vuitton Collection, there was a
collaboration on the part of the Chapman brothers, who were told to create their
own interpretation of a French baroque floral engraving. Using hand painted
watercolor works of art from their archives, and inspired by the complexities of
the traditional arts of the Himalayas, they added twisted and surprising elements
to the progressive floral design, thus changing and reinventing the classic style.
