G al Gadot. You may not yet know her by name but
you have definitely seen her work. Some of my
personal favorites are Keeping Up With the Joneses
and of course, the almighty Wonder Woman.

For all the little girls who grew up watching the Wonder Woman
television series, this highly anticipated movie is like a dream come
true. Risking the possibility of not living up to the legend of the
series, we were not disappointed. Gadot is perfect for this role. To
me, she is a bit of an enigma; somehow sexy and powerful yet with
a hint of being very delicate at the same time.

Named Woman of the Year 2017, Gadot was born in Israel and to
our surprise, served in the IDF for two years and also won the 2004
Miss Israel title, highlighting Gadot’s eclectic range. From modeling
to acting, her preparation for this superhero role was particularly
grueling and among all of the training included swordsmanship,
Kung Fu kickboxing, Capoeira and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Married with two children and playing the epitome, in my
opinion, of female superheroes, Gadot has set the stage for the next
generation of women to feel strong, empowered, and confident to
accomplish anything they set their minds to. This “Gal” truly is a
Wonder Woman.
