A man with a musical mission, his single "Believe" landed
on the soundtrack for the Disney Channel musical
Descendants and he collaborated with Camila Cabello
on the song "I Know What You Did Last Summer" which
reached the Top 20 on the U.S. and Canadian Hot 100
charts. Mendes' second album, Illuminate debuted at
number one in the U.S. and Canada, achieving platinum
status. On his world tour in 2017, he notched another
Top Ten single in "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back".

In the spring of 2018, Shawn performed the single "In
My Blood", from his eponymous third album, Shawn
Mendes, at a concert for Queen Elizabeth II's 92nd
birthday at the Royal Albert Hall in London. He just
keeps on churning them out. The album debuted at
number one on the Billboard 200. Mendes, a young
musical maestro, is an inspiration to us all.
