


Patricia Urquiola, the Spanish-born architect and designer, is known for her work in product design, architecture and interior design. She currently lives and works in Milan. Urquiola has received numerous awards and honors for her work and is recognized for her unique design style.
In 2001, she established her own design studio in Milan, Studio Urquiola, which engages in various design disciplines, including product design, architecture, art direction, and strategic consulting.
Urquiola has collaborated with prestigious international brands including Cassina, Moroso, and Louis Vuitton. She was awarded the Gold Medal of Merit in the Fine Arts by the Spanish government and received the Order of Isabella the Catholic from King Juan Carlos of Spain. Recognized as “Designer of the Year” by publications such as Wallpaper, AD Spain, and Elle Decor, her work is featured in museums and collections, including MoMA in New York and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
Amongst her latest projects in architecture are Il Sereno Hotel in Como, the SD96 yacht for Sanlorenzo, the spa of the Four Seasons Hotel Milan and The Jewellery Museum in Vicenza.
Patricia Urquiola’s design approach is characterized by a human-centric focus, a passion for craftsmanship, and a commitment to originality.
