film that offered her the role of Amanda in Manny & Lo
that garnered her a nomination for the Independent Spirit
Award for Best Lead Female. To me, that’s what really
sparked her passion for the art of acting. She later appeared
in a myriad of minor roles in several films including one
of my favorites, The Horse Whisperer. History repeated
itself again when she was nominated for two Golden Globe
Awards, one for drama in Girl with a Pearl Earring and
the other for comedy in Lost in Translation. They called it a
comedy, but I found it very dark and yet could not turn away
from it. She and Bill Murray stole the screen and it pulled at
every heartstring possible.

More award nominations followed, but for me, it’s all of the
action hero movies that capture my attention from nearly all
of the Avengers movies, to Lucy, Black Widow, Iron Man
and much more. Then the dramatic roles started up again
such as The Other Boleyn Girl, and of course rounding out
her full talent of ¨ScarJo¨ in another romantic comedy, He's
Just Not That Into You.

Like I said, Scarlett Johansson, she’s both delicate and
simultaneously powerfully unique.
