afael Micha M Sc, International Relations, is CMO and
Managing Partner at Grupo HABITA, which has 13 posh
lifestyle hotels located in Mexico and the US. His hotels
R and lounges have been featured in publications including:
Wallpaper*, Vogue, Condé Nast Traveler, and the New York Times, among
many others. In addition he personally attends to VIPS, international
media, and his prestigious guests, including: Madonna, Kim Kardashian-
West, Katy Perry, Bono, Viggo Mortensen, and contemporary artists
Shirin Neshat, Gabriel Orozco, the architects Wolf Prix, and Richard
Meier, among many other luminaries. Micha is on numerous Art Museum
boards and is deeply committed to the contemporary art scene.

McCormick

eborah McCormick’s wanderlust for far-away places led her to
pursue a travel-writing career. She was managing editor for in-
flight magazine Wild Blue Yonder, and then brand director
Dworking with East West Resorts. McCormick has bridged the
architect’s vision with compelling branding for resorts including one of the
top 25 spas in the world: Spa Anjali at the Westin in Beaver Creek. Under the
tagline “Where Nature Natures” McCormick created a positioning platform
intrinsically tied to the inspiring Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Jacquie Bate

passion for reading, general knowledge and playing with words,

Enid Blyton and her parents as role models, Jacquie learned to write, and
never stopped learning. Based in Durban, Bate and her husband are digital
nomads - camping and road tripping across South Africa. Happiest at the
coast, she can live anywhere there’s wi-fi and chocolate!
