of Celine Dion, Josh Groban,
and Michael Bublé. Groban has called Foster
“...one of the most brilliant musical minds of
our time.” Dion says, “David hears things no
other person hears.”
In addition to launching these and many other
illustrious careers he continues to produce
talent such as Diana Krall, Smokey Robinson,
Sarah McLachlan, and the up-and-coming
Malaysian singer Yuna, as well as the YouTube
group, Dirty Loops.
In 2013, Foster received his star on The
Hollywood Walk of Fame. Reflecting
upon having received the star, Foster says,
“One hundred years from now, my great-
grandchildren will go, ‘Hey, there’s my great-
grandpa.’ And having a star next to The
Beatles… outside the building where I first got
signed… that’s perfect.”
We owe our personal musical history to this
extraordinary music man who has shaped our
lives with hit after hit. Foster’s musical genius
has literally fostered generations of talent and
continues to do so.
